I gave it a shot

The location was fantastic, just a short stroll from Tempe Town Lake and ASU. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast spread was solid, with a variety of options. The staff was friendly, and the quick service added to the pleasant experience. If you're okay with some traffic noise, it's a great choice!

Impressive room and staff is always amazingly kind.

When we visit Tempe, like staying here. The hotel is well priced and lovely and housed in a nice building. They have Hearing Accessible rooms with jetted tub, microwave plus fan and care about everyone. There is a microwave, coffee/tea making machines and a fridge. The location is marvellous, close to everything you 'd want to get to in the valley.

the room was very big, very comfy bed. great service from the very pleasant and consistently courteous staff that we interacted with.

Our late-night check-in was made good by a friendly staff member who offered a complimentary snack, and the breakfast spread was a convenient start to our busy days.

Great location and accomodations for the money. Brought our bikes and right next to the Tempe Town Lake bike trail, the beginning of the Green Belt bike trails, and really close to ASU campus / Mill Ave.

There was not any bike rack if needed/ did not see any promotions for alternate transportation.

excellent access to parks and dining for weekend explorers

I loved being just a short walk from Tempe Town Lake, where I could enjoy beautiful park views and scenic strolls along the water. It was also easy to grab a bite at nearby dining spots like Jersey Mike's Subs.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix, Tempe, An Ihg offered excellent service and a very comfortable stay. The room was updated and clean, with modern vinyl wood plank flooring. The complimentary breakfast included a variety of options such as eggs, sausage, and waffles, enjoyable. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from ASU and close to dining options like In-N-Out.

The hotel's staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the air conditioning was quite noisy. While the location was convenient, the proximity to the highway caused some noise, and the pool and hot tub were disappointing.

would definitely stop here again

The location was awesome, super close to Tempe Town Lake and ASU. The room had a tv, fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Staff was great, really helpful, and offered a snack at check-in. Breakfast had a variety, little omelets, sausage, yogurt, and more. They also had a fitness center and hot tub. Clean and comfortable stay.

Great coffee and friendly staff. Shower was not cleaned well.

pleasant stay with a few quirks

The location was fantastic! Proximity to Tempe Town Lake made for nice evening walks. Staff provided attentive service, especially check-in at nearly 1 am with a welcome snack after a long day of travel. The breakfast had a decent variety, but it could use a functional pancake machine.

The room was really clean and spacious. It had all the basic amenities we needed. Traffic noise from the highway was pretty intense-seemed like we were on the sidewalk at times. The bed was comfortable, but combined with the outside noise, sleep wasn't great. The AC was a bit loud too. Just a heads up about that!

We loved the hot breakfast and enjoyed taking a stroll through historic downtown, checking out restaurants and shops. Also visited the Phoenix Zoo and had a blast! Just a heads up, traffic noise from the freeway can be a bit much at night.

We faced some hiccups like the ice machines not working, a bummer. But overall, it didn't ruin our fun.
